For your journal entry this week, respond to some aspect of his book in a well-crafted 600-700 word post. It doesn’t have to be on the chapter(s) you were assigned. You might consider — for example — a close reading of one of his episodes, the overall narrative, use of evidence, quality of sources, argument, theory (or lack thereof), or perhaps a topic that emerged in our Monday discussion. Try to keep your own opinion out of your analysis, and instead engage the text on a scholarly rather than personal level. As before, start your post by listing the book’s information as if in a Chicago Style bibliography entry.
Post due Wed, Feb 3rd by start of classtime.
